1.0 out of 5 stars Try Apple Cider Vinegar instead, September 1, 2007
I had two warts on my index finger for 7 years, and I only focused on getting rid of the largest one. I must have very stubborn warts because I tried this product, duct tape, the liquid wart remover, and the black dots. I tried the Freeze Off maybe twenty times, and each time the wart returned a little larger than before. I got more aggressive with the treatments, and the last time I left the Freeze Off applicator on my wart for 2 minutes using a double dose of the freezing solution. I had to hold ice on my finger for a couple of hours to relieve the pain. Two weeks later, I peeled off the dried up blister and repeated the painful process. I thought I had done permanent damage to my finger it hurt so badly. But a month later, everything looked fine and my wart returned in the shape of a "C", which meant I at least did some damage to one side of my wart. Before I tried it again, my niece told me she tried a home remedy of apple cider vinegar applied to her wart with a cotton... Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Painful but worked GREAT!, June 27, 2008
OK, so, if you do NOT use this product CORRECTLY it will NOT work.

If you are a WUSS and can not stand even a LITTLE PAIN, this product will not work for you.....

I had gotten a wart on my left middle finger RIGHT on the edge of my nail (VERY Difficult area to treat). I had tried the liquid treatments that you brush on, I tried garlic, AND I even went to the doctor (who used a VERY similar kit to this..... and who also did not hold it on long enough, or on the WHOLE wart).....

Needless to say I was fed up with having this darn thing on my finger for over a YEAR!!!!!

I went out and bought this kit. I followed the instructions SOMEWHAT to a T. IT says to wait 2 weeks before repeating treatment... I found that if in a couple of days my finger felt fine and was not sore and did not ache, then I would treat it again.

Also, I kept the tip of the applicator pressed on the wart from 40-50 seconds (10 secs longer then they recommend)... Read more
