3 of 3 people found the following review helpful Very effective, eco-friendly ingredients, Undercover Nerd (Brooklyn, NY) - See all my reviews This conditioner is packed full of botanicals but the two main ingredients in this conditioner are not that exciting. Jojoba is a conditioning oil that turns up in cosmetics and marsh mallow contains flavenoids and may be an anti-inflammatory. However, its main role in cosmetics is as a thickening agent. Nettle may be one of the better ingredients used since it is rich in calcium and vitamins A and C, and may stimulate the growth of healthy hair. Plus there is burdock, a popular scalp treatment in Europe. I also like the inclusion of galactoarabinan (larch tree extract). This is an interesting ingredient that can act as an exfolliant without causing irritation and in in vitro tests has been shown to boost the effectiveness of sunscreen ingredients. |
